The aim of this
new periodical on military history, launched by the Estonian War Museum –
General Laidoner Museum together with Tallinn University Press, is to reinforce
the scientific research of Estonian and general military history and to publish
research results. The Estonian Yearbook
of Military History is the successor of the Yearbook of the General Laidoner Museum, published from 2001 to
2006. This is indicated by the double numbering of the issues of the Estonian Yearbook of Military History.
