  • The ticket price includes visiting the main building and the heavy artillery exhibition during the period of May-October.
  • Visting Museum of the Estonian Military Academy and Defence Forces cemetery is free of charge.
  • The museum ticket prices do not apply to special events for which a separate ticket is announced.
  • When booking a guided tour a price for the tour is added to the ticket price.

Getting there

Public transportation

Bus #1 Viru keskus – Viimsi keskus

Take a bus at the Viru Keskus (Viru Centre) underground bus terminal. Get off at “Viimsi vallamaja” or “Mõispargi” stop and follow the signage. The entrance to the museum faces the street Aiandi Tee.

Bus #49 Lennujaam (Airport) – Viimsi keskus

To come from Tallinn airport, take a bus at the airport (Lennujaam) towards Viimsi keskus. Get off at “Mõisapargi” (Manor Park) stop and follow the signage. The entrance to the museum faces the street Aiandi Tee.

Bus #174 Tallinn – Viimsi – Haabneeme

Take a bus at the Balti Jaam train station (Baltic Station). Get off at “Viimsi mõis” (Viimsi Manor) stop which is just nearby the museum located in the Viimsi manor.

Bus #114 Tallinn – Haabneeme – Rohuneeme

Take a bus at the Balti Jaam train station (Baltic Station). Get off at “Mõisapargi” (Manor Park) stop and follow the signage. The entrance to the museum faces the street Aiandi Tee.

By car

Drive to Viimsi and follow the signs. The main entrance of the museum faces Aiandi tee.  In front of the museum, there’s a free parking lot for cars and buses.

Accessibility

  • The whole area of the Estonian War Museum, including the Heavy Artillery Hall, Defence Forces Cemetery and the Museum of the Estonian Military Academy is wheelchair accessible.
  • There is an accessible toilet in the main building.
  • Well-behaved pets are welcome.

 

Museum gift shop

There is a small gift shop at the Museum, where you can buy war history themed books and souvenirs. During some special events a cafe is also open. The shop is open during Museum’s opening times.
