Veterans’ Day fundraising bake sale
The Estonian War Museum celebrates Veterans’ Day on Saturday 19 April with a big charity cake sale in support of Estonian Defence Forces veterans.
In the main hall of Viimsi Manor, the staff of the War Museum, veterans’ wives and members of the Womens’ Voluntary Defence Organization will be selling homemade cakes and other goodies to raise money for the veterans. Of course, there will also be tea and coffee, and lemonade for the kids – enjoy it on the spot or buy some to take home.
In the courtyard, children can enjoy a camouflage face-painting workshop, and the whole family can test their attention in the War Museum’s exhibition with a hidden treasure game.
For the first time this season, the Heavy Artillery hall and armoured train No 7 “Wabadus” (Freedom) will be open.
Entrance to the War Museum is FREE of charge on this day.
Bring the whole family and let us salute!
