The Defence League is a voluntary militarily organised national defence organisation, established in 1918 and restored in 1990. Its affiliated organisations are the Women’s Home Defence (Naiskodukaitse) and the youth organisations Young Eagles (Noored Kotkad) and Home Daughters (Kodutütred).
The exhibition dedicated to the Defence League on the second floor of Viimsi Manor underwent a thorough renovation in 2025. The focal point of the room is the Defence League’s unit tent, which exudes the authentic spirit of the Defence League. Uniforms and insignia from different periods are on display, providing an overview of the history of the Defence League from its founding to the present day.
