XVII International Baltic Military History Conference

The XVII International Baltic Military History Conference “The Baltic Sea Region in Nineteenth- and Twentieth-Century Military History: From the Congress of Vienna to the Nuclear and Missile Age” will be held on 29 and 30 October at the Tartu University Library.

This year’s Baltic Military History Conference dives into the fight for dominance over the Baltic Sea in the 19th and 20th centuries – the sea that has functioned simultaneously as both connector and divider, shaping the region’s military and economic dynamics.
